Role Description
This is a Full-Time role for a Licensed Clinician (LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW) based in Kissimmee, FL. While the role offers the flexibility of remote work for a portion of the week, in-person sessions are required to maintain our high standard of care. The clinician will provide professional mental health services, including individual and couples counseling, the development of customized treatment plans, and relationship-focused interventions. Additional responsibilities include comprehensive case management, progress monitoring, and maintaining clinical documentation in accordance with Florida state regulations and professional ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
•Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
•Provide high-quality individual, couples, and/or family therapy sessions.
•Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (Intake, Progress Notes, Discharge Summaries) via Electronic Health Record (EHR).
•Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring consistent follow-up and progress tracking.
•Collaborate with the administrative team regarding insurance billing and authorization requirements.
•Participate in weekly clinical staffing and consultation and supervision as required.
Qualifications
•Licensure: Must hold and maintain an active, unrestricted license in the state of Florida (LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW).
•Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
•Clinical Expertise: Proven experience in relationship counseling and evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, Gottman Method, EFT).
•Communication: Exceptional empathetic communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
•Compliance: Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and professional ethical guidelines.
•Technical Proficiency: Comfortable utilizing EHR software and telehealth platforms.
Preferred Skills
•Bilingual: Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a significant asset and highly preferred.
•Qualified Supervisor: Active Florida Board-Approved Supervisor status.
•Billing Knowledge: Experience with ICD-10 coding and insurance billing processes.
•Specializations: Certification in specific trauma-informed or couples-specific therapies.
