Our 24/7 helpline is their lifeline—a safe, confidential space where they find hope and help. We don't just facilitate safe surrender; we offer a compassionate hand, providing everything from housing and counseling referrals to legal and medical assistance. We help them make a choice that is best for their baby and for themselves, often preventing an unthinkable tragedy before it happens.
As our Director of Fundraising and Planned Giving, you won't just be raising money; you'll be raising hope, You will be responsible for leading all fundraising efforts to ensure Safe Haven delivers the necessary programs and services to the community and continued organizational growth and sustainability. You will be working alongside our Founder and CEO to inspire others to join our mission.
Your mission:
- Identify and cultivate deeply personal connections with individuals, foundations, and corporations who share our commitment to protecting innocent lives.
- Lead our efforts to secure major gifts and planned giving commitments that will ensure the long-term sustainability of our mission.
- Craft compelling stories that move people to action and demonstrate the profound impact of every donation.
- Be the voice of our cause, working collaboratively to lead fundraising campaigns and events that bring our community together.
What we're looking for:
- A proven, successful track record in fundraising in the South Florida area, with a passion for building relationships and a drive to exceed goals.
- A natural storyteller and motivator who can speak about our mission with powerful emotion and conviction.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire trust and loyalty.
- A compassionate heart and an unwavering dedication to our mission.
- Valid Florida driver's license. Bilingual is a plus.
