Responsibilities
- Assist lead plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems according to project plans and schematics
- Prepare work areas by organizing tools, materials, and equipment such as hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines
- Support the assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and related components using hand tools and power tools
- Help with site cleanup, material handling, and maintaining a safe work environment on construction sites
- Measure, cut, and fit pipes using basic math skills to ensure precise installations
- Support field service tasks including troubleshooting plumbing issues and assisting with remodeling or maintenance projects
Qualifications
- Prior experience or exposure to construction sites or mechanical trades is highly preferred
- Familiarity with construction plumbing techniques, and pipe threading is advantageou
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical equipment safely and effectively
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an aptitude for learning technical procedures quickly
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required in plumbing tasks
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
