Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and potential entry points
- Apply pest control treatments using appropriate chemicals or eco-friendly solutions with precision and safety
- Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and recommend ongoing maintenance plans
- Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, chemicals used, and client interactions for compliance and reporting purposes
Requirements
- Conduct thourough interior and exterior inspections to locate pests
- Offer sound advice on both chemical and natural pest control remediation options
- Prepare estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance
- Set traps and/or put out bait to eliminate rodents
- Spray interior and perimeter of homes and structures for spiders, roaches, ants, and other insects
- Provide safe and efficient removal of wasp, hornet and bee nests
- Recommend products and services for effective pest control.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Have a clear understanding of the safety protocols for pest control, including wearing properly- fitted repirators when working with chemicals and donning protective clothing and gloves when necessary
- Physical stamina to endure heavy lifting of equipment and excessive bending and kneeling to locate pest in hard to reach areas
- Good interpersonal and communication skills when speaking with customers and advising on treatment methods
- Storng attention to detail when performing pest detection and treatment procedures
- Willingness to learn new extermination techniques and procedures based on industry trend
- Basic math skills
