What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Coordinator position at A-RV Storage & Repair?

We are a RV storage and repair business looking for a skilled Office Coordinator to undertake a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks. You will be an integral part in ensuring that our office operations run smoothly and are successful in supporting other business activities. An excellent office coordinator is, above all, an organized and competent professional with phenomenal communication and interpersonal skills. You will be comfortable dealing with people and able to carry out administrative duties with accuracy and speed. The goal is to ensure that office operations are efficient and that you are adding maximum value to the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Maintain files and records with effective filing systems
  • Support other teams with various administrative tasks (directing calls, disseminating correspondence, scheduling jobs, processing incoming RV's, etc.)
  • Greet and assist visitors when they arrive at the office
  • Handle all office contracts and systems (rent, shop service, detailing, etc.)
  • Manage new contracts and detailing
  • Perform basic bookkeeping activities and update the accounting system
  • Deal with customer complaints or issues
  • Assist service writer with billing
  • Monitor office receivables and create deposits
  • Communication with customers
  • Accounts receivable collections

Skills

  • Proven experience as office coordinator or in a similar role
  • Experience in customer service a plus, having patience, friendliness, and professionalism
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and office management systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of social media and email platforms and accounting software (Quick Books Enterprise used)
  • Accurate multi-tasking is a must
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Typing skills
  • Knowledge of RV's would be great but not necessary
  • A team player
