What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3 Year Old Teacher position at A Readiness Learning Academy, Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Must complete DCF 45hrs of Training & Level 2 Background Screening
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in each child
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the classroom
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children, such as nannying, daycare, babysitting, or classroom settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies
- Strong caregiving skills and ability to meet the needs of individual children
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with young children
