Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, and debris around construction sites
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, backhoes, and water trucks to support construction activities
- Conduct routine inspections of dump trucks and other heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Support excavation work using excavators or horizontal drilling equipment as needed
- Help with site cleanup, material staging, and general labor tasks to maintain an organized work environment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and your team
Experience
- Proven experience operating dump trucks in a construction or similar heavy-duty environment
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, backhoes, water trucks, and tanker units
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Hands-on experience with Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery brands preferred
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards and practices
- Ability to perform basic maintenance checks on trucks and equipment
- Experience working with horizontal drilling or paving projects is a plus
