Warehouse Inventory and Maintenance Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Inventory and Maintenance coordinator to oversee daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of warehouse management systems, and a solid understanding of logistics, inventory control, and process improvement. This role is vital in ensuring efficient materials handling, shipping and receiving, and maintaining safety standards. The inventory and maintenance coordinator will manage logistics operations and implement best practices to maximize warehouse efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities

• Independently coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Oversee inventory control processes using inventory management systems and ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality within warehouse operations.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and ensure proper training on OSHA standards for all warehouse personnel.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, scheduling, and communication purposes.
• Coordinate shipping & receiving activities ensuring timely dispatches and deliveries.
• Monitor warehouse to identify areas for continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to management principles to streamline workflows and eliminate waste.

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within distribution centers or warehouses.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management systems, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Proficient in property/facility maintenance and the safe operation of power tools, lawn equipment, and basic material handling tools.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for facility-related transport or travel.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage performance goals, and maintain high self-motivation.
• Effective managerial communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to warehousing activities.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies to optimize workflows.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for facility-related transport or travel.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and documentation accuracy.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
