What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wrought Iron Railing Fabricator / Welder position at A&R IRON WORKS?
A&R Iron Works in Trainer, PA is looking for Experienced Welder/Fabricators to join our growing team!
A successful Welder Fabricator enjoys working with their hands and has an analytical mind. They can physically meet the demands of the job and have an eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Fabrication of railings, stairs, gates, window guards, etc. (primary materials used but not limited to; mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.)
- Laying out, cutting, fitting, measuring and welding metals to create the desired shape or object.
- Grinding / Polishing (when required)
- Installation (when required)
- Maintain a safe work environment by keeping your work area clean without obstruction and debris
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of steel railing fabrication and welding experience, OR 5 years of structural steel fabrication and welding experience
- Familiarity and experience using drills, and tools used to grind, cut, and polish metal
- Must be able measure and cut steel with extreme precision
- Ability to lift 100lbs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
