Job Overview
A&R Employment Group is seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Coordinator to join a manufacturing team with an estblished company in Bangor. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of production activities to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency in supply chain management systems and manufacturing processes, with a focus on optimizing workflow and inventory control. Bilingual English /Spanish preferred.
Duties
- Coordinate and translate master production schedules to align with demand forecasts and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to ensure the availability of materials and components.
- Manage logistics inventory control by overseeing stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and implementing inventory management best practices.
- Support demand forecasting activities through detailed Excel data analysis to improve accuracy in production planning.
- Collaborate on supply chain management initiatives to optimize manufacturing workflows, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
- Assist in implementing lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Monitor production schedules closely, adjusting plans as necessary to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Skills
- Experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment..
- Knowledge of demand planning, forecasting, and demand forecasting analysis techniques.
- Experience in inventory management, inventory control, and logistics inventory management practices.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles aimed at continuous improvement.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
