About the job:
Applicant MUST have previous hands on experience in the building materials/ lumber/ construction industry or equivalent and retail experience. A&R Building Supply, a Lumber Yard/ Hardware Store in Mountain Top for over 60 years, is seeking a Service Counter Associate. This candidate should be a hardworking, hands on individual with knowledge of lumber, hardware, and building materials who knows how to use the tools they are selling to the customer and how to direct them through basic repairs. Please be advised we are open seven days a week and weekends are necessary. Must apply in person at 201 Church Road Mountain Top, PA 18707.
Qualifications:
Must have previous hands on experience in the building materials/ lumber/ construction industry or equivalent.
Must have strong computer experience.
Strong organizational and communication skills, conflict resolution, and problem solving abilities.
Retail Customer Service experience is a must.
Knowledge of retail computer systems a plus.
Ability and willingness to work flexible house and weekends.
Minimum Requirements:
-Valid Driver's License
-Walk and stand on the job for extended periods of time
-Frequently bend, squat, lift, reach, push and pull as may be necessary
