A Precious Child, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities include all aspects of the donor experience with A Precious Child.
Hours: Full-Time, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Monday through Friday, with some evenings and weekends. Possibility of hybrid work environment after onboarding.
Reports To: Development Database Manager
Areas of Responsibility:
· Assists with gift entry and direct deposit reports, maintaining clean and consistent data and records.
· Field donor calls and assists when able or direct to the appropriate team member.
· Update donor information in Raiser’s Edge as needed.
· Manage weekly acknowledgement letter process, thank you calls, and memorial/honoree notifications.
· Write and send thank you cards to donors giving under $250.
· Create and send invoices and log the corresponding pledge into Raiser’s Edge.
· Assist with generating reports upon request.
· Assist with entering in-kind donations into Raiser’s Edge.
· Manage third-party donation platforms (Just Giving, Double the Donation, etc.).
· Maintains data entry requirements by following data program processes and procedures.
· Assist the team with event lists, registrations, auction items, and general event support.
· Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Experience & Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
- Enthusiasm and passion for A Precious Child’s mission and vision.
- At least 1year of client services experience or fundraising experience.
- Must be able to manage competing demands and handle multiple duties simultaneously.
- Exceptional customer service skills and ethics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
- Must be a self-starter who is motivated, outgoing and has strong organizational skills.
- Work well independently and in a team environment.
- Meets deadlines and demonstrate attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, dependable and ability to work effectively with coworkers, volunteers and interns.
- Possesses excellent relationship and interpersonal skills; the ability to work effectively with donors, volunteers, and staff; displays mature judgment, superior diplomatic skills.
Compensation: $25/hour (Non-exempt, hourly)
