Position Overview
A Pool Service is a well-established pool care company serving the East End of Long Island. We are looking for an experienced, reliable Pool Service Maintenance Person to join our team and provide top-quality service to our residential clients in the Southampton and Watermill areas.
This is a seasonal opportunity with a friendly, locally-owned business that values craftsmanship, professionalism, and long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool maintenance, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and emptying baskets
- Test and balance water chemistry; add chemicals as needed
- Inspect, clean, and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues; perform minor repairs in the field
- Open and close pools seasonally
- Maintain accurate service records for each client visit
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and property managers
- Keep service vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked
Requirements
- Prior experience in pool service, maintenance, or a closely related trade is required
- Solid working knowledge of pool chemistry, equipment, and standard service procedures
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and a professional, customer-friendly attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Authorized to work in the United States
Schedule & Location
- Employment Type: Seasonal
- Days: Monday – Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (some flexibility available)
- Coverage Area: Primarily Southampton, NY and Watermill, NY
