Job Summary
Responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on-site. Your expertise will help drive project success by managing equipment such as Excavators, Bulldozers, 815 Compactor w/ 84-inch Vibratory Sheepsfoot roller, and Scraper. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to contribute to large-scale infrastructure development.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including Excavators, Dozers, 815 Compactors and other machinery safely and efficiently across multiple construction sites.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained.
- Assist with site preparation tasks by leveling ground, moving materials, and supporting concrete pouring using mixers or other machinery.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to plan daily operations and coordinate equipment usage effectively.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations diligently to prevent accidents or injuries on-site.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and operational reports as required.
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as Excavators, Dozers, 815 Compactors, and related machinery.
- Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with various construction processes and safety procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues and performing basic maintenance tasks.
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
