What are the responsibilities and job description for the Embroidery/Signs/Screen Printing/HTV/DTF position at A Plus Signs and Screen Printing?
Thank You for your interest in working at A Plus Signs and Screen Printing. We are a Employee owned business that was started in 2001 and based in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. We offer ESOP, 401k, Insurance, Profit Sharing, etc.
Our production/installation staff are always cross-trained in areas of sign production, vinyl installation, embroidery, direct to film printing, and screen printing of t-shirts and apparel. We strive to have employees that are capable of stepping into any role within the company whenever a need may arise. This position has room for plenty of growth within the company, since it is so diverse.
This is a full-time salaried position
Our store is open Monday-Friday 9-5. We are closed on weekends and some holidays.
Starting pay will be based on experience. This position has room for increase in pay based on performance and your ability to be trained and be a great team player!
As the Sign Production/Installer, you’ll:
- Cut various substrates to size
- Install vinyl graphics on various surfaces, including vehicles, windows, signage, and more (at our facilities and on-location)
- Using Flexi Sign/Photoshop/Illustrator/Other Software
- Use a wide-format laminating roller table to laminate printed vinyl graphics, and to apply vinyl graphics to various substrates, including aluminum composite, coroplast, and PVC
- Weed and mask vinyl graphics
- Operating a direct-to-film printer for t-shirts and garments
- Assist in routine maintenance of equipment and cleaning of the shop and vehicles
- Training will be provided
Requirements:
- Willing to do physical labor
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Good at basic math, fractions, and use of a tape measure for surveying signs and job sites
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift 50 pounds
