1. Job Requirements
- Teach Mandarin Chinese to students at different proficiency levels.
- Prepare lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Assess students’ progress and provide feedback.
- Create an engaging, supportive, and positive learning environment.
2. Qualifications and Experience
- Native or fluent Mandarin Chinese speaker.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chinese, Education, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
- Teaching credential or Chinese language teaching certification preferred.
- Previous teaching experience preferred.
- Experience working with the appropriate age group.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
3. Teaching Skills
- Able to teach Pinyin, tones, characters, and pronunciation.
- Able to explain Chinese grammar and vocabulary clearly.
- Able to develop engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
- Comfortable using textbooks, technology, games, and interactive activities.
- Able to adapt teaching methods to different learning needs.
- Able to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
4. Personal Qualities

- Organized and well-prepared.
