Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as Lawn Mowing Lead. This role involves maintaining residential and commercial lawns to ensure they are healthy, attractive, and well-kept. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor work. Responsibilities include mowing lawns, string trimming around fixed objects, and using a blower to blow away clippings from walkways/drives. The lawn route will be completed using a pick up truck, enclosed trailer, and an app to navigate and document service records.
Duties
- Maintain positive customer relations
- Maintain schedule to ensure consistent and reliable service
- Ensure app is completed accurately to document services for billing
- Provide top notch service to customers lawns and take pride in what you do
- Complete each job respectfully and professionally
- Mow lawns using commercial mowers
- Use Stihl trimmer to trim around objects and Stihl backpack blower to blow clippings from walkways, patios, and driveways
- Maintain equipment by conducting regular inspections. Report any damage or defects in operation to management immediately. This includes truck, trailer, mower, trimmer, and back pack blower. Keep equipment clean and in operational order.
- Ensure each work site is completed to full satisfaction to prevent any call backs.
Experience
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating and maintaining lawn equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality results in all tasks performed.
- Reliability is extremely important in this position. This position requires consistency to meet scheduling needs each week. Flexibility to work around rain days will be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
