We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Clinical Services to lead our healthcare team. This role is pivotal in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing nursing staff. Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of clinical services to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in home health.
- Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support in their daily operations.
- Manage shift schedules to optimize staffing levels and ensure adequate coverage for patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient outcomes and quality metrics, making adjustments as necessary to improve service delivery.
- Ensure that all clinical staff are trained in current best practices related to physiology, anatomy, and specific care protocols.
- Maintain knowledge of Medicare regulations and ensure compliance within the organization.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through training and development initiatives for clinical staff.
- Monitor QAPI program to assure appropriate corrective measures are performed.
Experience
- 2-5 years of RN- Leadership experience in Home Health.
- OASIS & QAPI Experience is a must.
- RN-BSN License in Ohio coupled with proven experience in nurse management or a similar leadership role within home health care.
- Strong knowledge of clinical systems and processes related to hospice care, acute care, and home health.
- Demonstrated ability in supervising teams effectively while managing multiple priorities.
- In-depth understanding of physiology and anatomy as it relates to patient care.
- Familiarity with Medicare guidelines and documentation requirements is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
