- Oversee the nursing department, ensuring high standards of patient care are maintained.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Manage nursing staff, including scheduling shifts and conducting performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
- Conduct regular documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies.
- Provide leadership in promoting resident rights and fostering a respectful environment.
- Stay updated on best practices in nursing care, physiology knowledge, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate training programs for nursing staff to enhance skills in patient care and documentation
Requirements
- Registered Nurse licensed in CA
- Understanding and acceptance of hospice philosophy
- Minimum of 3 years in Healthcare Management
- Computer proficiency and experience with hospice EMR systems
- Possess strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Must be of high integrity, including maintenance of confidential information, including all personnel and patient records
