We’re expanding and looking for a motivated Garage Door Master Tech Apprentice to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and wants to build a long-term career in a high‑demand trade.
You’ll develop a strong, well-rounded skill set in the garage door industry. We provide comprehensive training, so you can learn to diagnose, repair, and install garage doors and openers with confidence. What We Offer
Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week
Typical work week: 45–50 hours
Paid overtime (1.5x)
Hands-on training program (3–5 months)
Clear path for career advancement
Earning potential after training: $50,000–$90,000 per year
Responsibilities
Install custom garage door components
Perform residential garage door and opener repairs
Operate a scissor lift (training & certification provided)
Complete commercial door repairs
Install residential and commercial motors
Diagnose mechanical and electronic issues
Provide excellent customer service
Perform annual maintenance services
Program garage door electronics
What We’re Looking For
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Team-first attitude
Basic experience with hand and power tools (preferred)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Reliable transportation
Compensation
$18-20 per hour during training (6 -12 months)
Overtime paid at 1.5x
After training and assignment of a company vehicle, Master Technicians typically earn $50K–$90K annually, depending on performance and workload
