Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Early Intervention Occupational Therapist at A Plus Early Intervention located throughout NYC, Westchester & Long Island. The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will provide direct therapy services to children aged 0-3 years, focusing on promoting sensory integration, fine motor development, and developmental milestones. Responsibilities include implementing early intervention strategies, collaborating with families to set individualized goals, assessing child progress, and maintaining accurate documentation to support treatment outcomes. The role requires working closely with a multidisciplinary team to create a supportive and nurturing environment for children and their families.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Occupational Therapy and Sensory Integration techniques
- Experience and passion for working with children, specifically in Pediatrics and Early Intervention settings
- Strong ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with families and team members
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and a valid Occupational Therapy license in New York State
- Previous experience in Early Intervention is preferred
