A Plus Early Intervention is a NYS DOH approved provider of Early Intervention services. We are committed to providing individualized and developmentally appropriate education and therapeutic services based upon a child’s strengths and needs. We seek our go-to resource for daily HR needs.
This onsite, tactical role manages foundational HR duties such as new hire processing, compliance, file management, and general employee support. You’ll keep our HR processes running smoothly while working closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer for complex issues.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with licensure, certification, training, continuing education, and work assessments.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Conducts new hire orientation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of related experience
Or
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a closely related field plus at least 1 year of related experience.
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000, depending upon experience. A Plus Early Intervention offers Paid Time Off, Medical Insurance, and 401(k). EOE/M/F/V/D
