Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The Automotive Technician will work on a variety of vehicles, including those equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and diesel engines.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough diagnostics and repairs on vehicles, ensuring all work meets industry standards.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various automotive repair tasks.
- Diagnose issues related to powertrain systems and provide appropriate solutions.
- Repair or replace parts as necessary, ensuring quality workmanship.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate findings to customers clearly.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions regarding vehicle performance or repairs.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance skills and service quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in a dealership or independent shop setting.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrain components and diesel engine repair.
- Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is preferred but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex vehicle issues accurately.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
