Responsibilities
- Remove and replace auto glass accurately using specialized hand tools and power tools, ensuring a perfect fit every time
- Conduct inspections of vehicle glass components, identifying damage or defects that require repair or replacement
- Utilize automotive repair knowledge to assist with related tasks such as window tinting, ADAS calibration, and minor auto body repairs
- Handle heavy lifting safely when working with large glass panels or vehicle parts, following proper safety protocols
- Maintain detailed records of services performed, including auto estimating and documentation for warranty purposes
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to glass installation, vehicle alignment, or assembly processes
- Support vehicle maintenance tasks as needed to ensure overall safety and optimal operation of the vehicle
Qualifications
- Prior dealership experience or hands-on work with auto glass installation is highly preferred
- Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration procedures is a plus
- Experience with window tinting, auto body repair, or general automotive repair enhances your candidacy
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques required for precise glass installation
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Basic understanding of auto estimating software or processes is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to work in a physically demanding environment
