Early Childcare Educator

Responsibilities

• Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management and classroom management strategies.
• Support children’s development by applying principles of childhood development, early intervention, and special education when needed.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, creativity, and curiosity while ensuring safety during toddler care and preschool experiences.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum tailored to diverse learning needs and incorporate standardized testing where appropriate for assessment purposes.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or behavior.
• Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, attendance, developmental milestones, and incident reports to ensure compliance with childcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool settings, or private schools is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices including early intervention strategies.
• Proficiency in curriculum development across multiple domains such as literacy education, math (including Montessori methods), and physical education.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a nurturing environment conducive to learning.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively.
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring techniques is advantageous.
