Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Massage Therapist at our location in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Licensed Massage Therapist will be responsible for performing a variety of therapeutic massage techniques to help manage pain, relieve stress, and improve overall patient well-being. Day-to-day tasks involve assessing patients' needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records of services provided. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals within the practice is also a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Licensure as a Massage Therapist in the state of Florida
- Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques, relaxation massage, and deep tissue massage
- Ability to assess patient needs and develop custom treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members professionally
- Experience in a healthcare or wellness setting is strongly preferred
- Knowledge or experience in complementary therapies such as Acupuncture or Physical Therapy is a plus
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
- CPR and First Aid certification are advantageous
