What are the responsibilities and job description for the Future Opening: Non Emergency Transportation Driver position at A PLACE FOR US?
We are seeking part-time NEMT drivers to join our team. You will be performing ambulatory trips in Glen Allen and the surrounding service areas using a company owned vehicle.
We welcome energetic, dependable and reliable individuals with experience. The position is part-time with the potential of truing into a Full-time position. We are looking for qualified drivers who would like to join our professional team at A Place For Us Transportation To help service the community and transport passengers to and from appointments.
This job is ideal for those with previous or current transportation experience and for those who feel compassion for people with special needs. You should be a self-motivated, responsible, dependable, and polite person with fluent English. You must be a safe driver with no accidents and clean driving and criminal records and drug screens are required.
Qualifications
- Must be reliable and professional
- Safety and security-minded, able to reach and use GPS and other apps
- Reliable, energetic, customer service/team oriented, excellent communicator
- Pass Criminal Background Check
- Good driver's record
- Pass initial Drug Test, be willing/able to submit to random drug testing
- CPR certified
