As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while providing reassurance and support to their families.
Position ResponsibilitiesProvide compassionate, non-medical in-home Alzheimer’s and dementia care
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
Provide medication reminders
Offer structured companionship and cognitive engagement
Use positive redirection techniques for memory-related behaviors
Maintain a calm, safe, and supportive home environment
Assist with mobility and safe transfers (training provided)
Support meal preparation and light housekeeping
Communicate effectively with families and care team members
Follow individualized memory care plans
Experience with Alzheimer’s or dementia care preferred
Patient, calm, and compassionate demeanor
Strong communication and observation skills
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Ability to work independently
Flexible and dependable
Must meet California Home Care Aide (HCA) requirements
Background check required
