Hot Springs Village Part-Time Caregiver (Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM)
Starting Pay: $16/hour | Consistent Hours Overtime Flexibility
We are seeking a reliable and professional caregiver for a part-time position supporting a client who benefits from a highly structured, routine-based environment.
Schedule
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Flexibility required to remain beyond scheduled hours based on client needs
Position Overview
The caregiver will provide support to a client who has specific preferences, established routines, and high expectations for consistency and quality of care. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a structured setting and can follow detailed instructions while maintaining professionalism.
Essential Job Functions
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Follow and maintain a consistent daily routine as outlined in the care plan
Perform light housekeeping in accordance with client preferences
Provide companionship while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries
Assist with basic care related to the family dog (e.g., feeding, letting outside, cleaning from coming in from outside)
Communicate effectively with the client and office staff
Accurately follow written and verbal instructions
Required Skills & Qualifications
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to established routines
Strong communication skills, including the ability to respond professionally to direct feedback
Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in a structured environment
Comfortable working in a home with a dog
Willingness to adapt to changing daily needs, including extended hours when necessary
Work Environment
Client home setting
Routine-driven environment with clearly defined expectations
Interaction style may be direct and task-focused
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform light physical tasks as needed
Ability to travel up and down stairs
Ability to assist with client mobility, if required
Ability to safely perform household tasks
