We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Elite Medical Home Care. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of life for our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance patient well-being.
Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Assist with mobility and transportation for appointments or activities.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a personal care assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong understanding of geriatric care practices.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and families.
Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others.
