Job Summary: Provides direct physical therapy services as prescribed, monitors patient progress, and communicates updates to the physician and care team. Educates and supervises staff, patients, and families to ensure continuity of care. Assists in developing treatment plans, maintains accurate documentation within 24 hours, and participates in clinical meetings and in-service trainings. Performs patient evaluations as referred and ensures services meet established standards. Responsible for assigned equipment and compliance with company policies.

Job Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapist with an associate level degree in Physical Therapist Assistant.

Licensure: Registered Physical Therapist in the State

Experience: One year of Experience as a physical therapist assistant, preferred.

Skills: Therapy skills as set forth in the therapy practice Ace and other regulatory agencies. Good interpersonal skills. Proof of current CPR certification.

Environmental and Working conditions: Works in a healthcare facility or patient homes in various conditions; possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases; ability to work a flexible schedule; ability to travel locally; some exposure to unpleasant weather,

Physical and Mental Effort: Ability to do heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, and standing. Prolonged standing and walking required. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and patient needs, and to meet patient and family individualized psychosocial needs. Requires hand-eye coordination and Manual dexterity.
