Role Description
This is a PRN/ part-time, on-site Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role based in Waldorf, MD. CNAs will provide direct care and assistance to adults and seniors in their homes. Day-to-day responsibilities include helping clients with personal hygiene and mobility, assisting with meal preparation, managing medications, performing light housekeeping duties, offering companionship, and reporting health updates to supervisors. CNAs will also provide support with dementia care and post-hospital recovery needs as required while maintaining a secure, caring environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Expertise in personal care tasks, including hygiene assistance, mobility support, and medication reminders
- Strong skills in light housekeeping, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Compassionate and capable of providing companionship, dementia care, and emotional support
- Effective communication, observation, and reporting abilities to relay client health updates accurately
- Current Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and CPR/First Aid certification
- Prior experience in elderly care or home care is highly preferred
- Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to client homes in Waldorf, MD
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor, confidentiality, and commitment to high standards of care
