What You'll Do as a Nurse Practitioner
As a PRN Nurse Practitioner, you play a vital role in ensuring high‑quality medical oversight and continuity of care. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting patient visits, physical examinations, and required Face‑to‑Face encounters
- Completing timely and accurate documentation
- Collaborating with the Administrator/Director, Medical Director, and other healthcare professionals to develop and refine patient care policies
- Working closely with the Patient Care Coordinator to ensure care meets professional standards and regulatory requirements
- Providing guidance to the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), Medical Director, and Ethics Committee when complex or ethical issues arise
- Assisting with federal, state, or local surveys and inspections as needed
- Helping develop in‑service education and training materials for clinical staff
Your work ensures patients receive compassionate, coordinated care while supporting the clinical team with expertise and leadership.
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner legally authorized to practice in Oklahoma with a license free of sanctions
- Experience in geriatrics, palliative medicine, or a related field
- Hospice experience preferred
- Ability to work in the field 95% of the time, including frequent bending, stooping, sitting, standing, and walking

- Flexible hours, Monday through Friday
