Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cold Chain Packaging & Shipping Associate to support daily shipping, packaging, and inventory operations. This role is responsible for preparing temperature-sensitive shipments, managing packaging materials, and ensuring compliance with shipping and documentation procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble ready-for-use packaging systems for pickups
- Manage cold chain shipments across all temperature ranges
- Prepare shipment documentation as required
- Maintain inventory of packaging systems and components
- Manage gel pack inventory and replenishment
- Refurbish reusable packaging materials
- Safely handle dry ice and shipment replenishment
- Operate internal systems such as WorldStar and Opstar
- Follow TempTale device procedures
- Issue airline airway bills for domestic and international non-rev shipments
- Complete GxP documentation logs accurately
- Identify shipping documentation requirements
- Monitor product temperature needs and replenishment requirements
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Strong customer service and phone communication skills
- Comfortable contacting locations to schedule pickups for packaging or monitors
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Forklift certification is a plus (not required)
