Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving, storing, processing and dispatching cargo, so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain process. We are seeking an Intern, Insights & Analytics to support Maersk’s Operational Excellence organization. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analytics, process improvement, and reporting automation within logistics operations. The role will focus on enabling data-driven decision-making, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to projects that optimize efficiency and deliver long-term benefits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This internship provides exposure to Operational Excellence frameworks, Lean Six Sigma principles, and digital transformation initiatives within logistics. You will gain practical experience in data analytics, CI automation, and project management, working alongside experienced professionals to shape the future of Maersk Contract Logistics.
Pay Range:
$28.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing dashboards, reports, and automation tools to improve visibility and performance monitoring.
- Support data collection, validation, and governance to ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting platforms.
- Collaborate with Continuous Improvement experts and change agents to implement process optimization initiatives.
- Contribute to predictive and prescriptive analytics projects, leveraging data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in building models for cost optimization and productivity analysis.
- Provide support for enterprise-wide CI and analytics initiatives, including automation pilots and digital enablement programs.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and basic programming (Python, SQL) is desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
