About the role:

We are looking for a Head of CHB Operation. CHB Regional Managers will report directly to this position. The right candidate will oversee NAM CHB operations, ensure strong and ongoing client relationships and be able to get hands-on with technical problems and issues as they arise. The person selected for this role will need to provide strong leadership with the understanding that different regions and offices have unique nuances which require flexible thinking and creative problem solving. The candidate must be able to work well with a diverse leadership team as well as inspire and motivate employees within a wide range of skills and job levels.

In this role, you will:

• Full ownership over managing Regional Leadership – performance management, hiring and firing decisions, coaching, etc.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to improve service and increase customer satisfaction – shared accountability between Head of Operations, Head of CHB Product, and Head of CHB Implementation.
• Work with CHB RS&C and internal audit to ensure compliance, consistent service delivery and process and policy standards.
• Identify customer needs and oversee operations within the CHB context.
• Support growth and new client implementations.
• Manage team performance and quality control.
• Manage projects, oversee service reliability and communicate issues to teams.
• Track service metrics.
• Determine ways to be cost effective without sacrificing customer satisfaction.
• Provide leadership and guidance to employees and offer positive feedback to promote learning and continued education.
  
  

What you bring:

• Customs Broker’s License a requirement with minimum 10-15 years industry experience in Customs Brokerage Operations and Trade Compliance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience in meeting budget
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills are a must.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong understanding of CHB reporting parameters.
• Direct and in-person employee and client contact limited domestic travel may be necessary.
• Proficient in MS Excel.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 USD*

Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match.

• The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors, such as location.
