Primary Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one peer support and recovery coaching
- Lead peer support groups and community activities
- Share lived experience appropriately and authentically
- Support clients in navigating treatment and recovery pathways
- Connect clients with community resources and opportunities
- Model recovery and wellness in daily interactions
- Document peer support activities and client outcomes
- Participate in team trainings and professional development
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current Maryland Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) credential
- Documented lived experience in personal recovery (substance use and/or mental health)
- Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and confidentiality
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Commitment to your own ongoing recovery and wellness
- Reliability and accountability
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Openness to learning and professional growth
Pay: $25.49 - $30.70 per hour
