Who We Are: We are a diverse community of case managers, therapists, and administrative staff that serve a diverse population in a culturally relevant and effective, evidence-based way. We give voice to the unheard, empower the community, reconcile relationships, and inspire hope in A New Way to clients and families.
What We Do: BHA's and Case Managers experienced in working with culturally diverse children, youth, and families are encouraged to become involved in our school-based services. We have created, in each school, a "Therapeutic Classroom," where a large classroom is fully transformed, through the use of lighting, comfortable seating, essential oils, manipulatives, etc, into a place of safety and healing. We support the school's efforts to create trauma-informed and responsive services, providing an ideal place for individual and group therapeutic interventions and a welcoming place for school personnel to sit down for consultations regarding students. Our objective is to become fully integrated into the school environment, where we can then have the biggest impact on school culture and success of the students.
Who Do We Look For: We are looking for BHA's and Case Managers who demonstrate a commitment to valuing diversity, contributing to an inclusive working environment, are teachable, trauma informed, and empathetic to marginalized people, and are passionate about moving clients toward emotional freedom and healing.
What Qualifies You: Certified Case Manger or qualilfied to become certifitied (Bachelor's Degree in related field) and experience with providing mental health services to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) a bonus.
Support clients in achieving their goals through healing, autonomy, psychoeducation, and community integration.
