Job Summary:
Provide administrative and client support for housing programs by conducting follow-ups, managing data, coordinating services, and assisting at the Homeward Bound site.
Salary: $20 hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Responsibilities:
Conduct monthly follow-ups with clients who have exited Rapid Re-Housing (RRH), Tenant-Based Rental Assistance (TBRA), and shelter programs via phone and email.
Collect and manage follow-up data using HMIS and SharePoint tools to track client progress and outcomes.
Collaborate with housing partner HOM Inc. to review and approve financial assistance payments for clients enrolled in follow-up services.
Provide light case management by connecting clients with community resources and support services.
Coordinate services at the Homeward Bound location by answering incoming calls and assisting walk-in clients.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in all interactions with clients, partners, and team members.
Attend and actively participate in meetings related to the RRH team and Homeward Bound site as needed.
Perform clerical and administrative duties including filing, data entry, drafting correspondence, and generating various reports.
Provide front desk coverage and support.
Maintain a high level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Utilize and troubleshoot standard office equipment effectively.
Uphold strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive client and family information.
Adhere to ethical standards and comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to program operations.
Assist with maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and general upkeep of the facility and equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned by the program supervisor to accommodate changes in program design or needs.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Experience:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and partners, required.
1-2 years of working with the homeless population preferred.
1 year of administrative and clerical skills preferred.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Primarily office-based work.
Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. for materials or office supplies.
Exposure to typical office equipment, such as computers, phones, and printers.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and cases
Must be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all client and team interactions.
