What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Teacher position at A New Beginning, Children’s Learning Center?
A New Beginning CLC is a nurturing early learning environment dedicated to helping young children develop socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. We are seeking a passionate and caring Early Childhood Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of children and families.
Qualifications
Must be able to pass a criminal background check, work flexible hours, and offer consistency in the classroom. Individual must receive CPR and SIDS within 60 days of employment and receive additional early childhood trainings each year. Individual must also be willing to obtain the NC Credential within 6 months of their hire date by completing EDU119 at the local community college.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Observe and assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and classroom activities.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and center policies
The Early Childhood Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, patient, creative, and committed to supporting each child's growth and success.
