Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 AM – 11:00 AM (Off Saturday and Sunday)
Pay Rate: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour

Job Summary:
A National Transit, LLC / MARTA Mobility is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Lot Attendant to support our operations team. This position plays a vital role in preparing vehicles for service each day by managing vehicle startup, inspections, and assignments. The Lot Attendant ensures all vehicles are ready for deployment, while maintaining safety, organization, and communication with drivers, dispatch, and maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Assignment & Coordination
- Assign vehicles to operators based on route schedules and availability.
- Communicate with dispatch to confirm driver-to-vehicle pairing.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure vehicles are rollout-ready.
- Vehicle Startup & Inspection
- Start and inspect vehicles each morning.
- Review and document Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR).
- Report any mechanical or cleanliness issues immediately.
- Vehicle Movement & Fuel Coordination
- Safely move buses and vehicles within the lot.
- Transport vehicles to the fuel island or maintenance facility as needed.
- Monitor mileage and log all vehicle movements accurately.
- Driver Support & Compliance
- Assist drivers in locating and preparing their vehicles for service.
- Ensure drivers follow lot procedures and guidelines.
- Serve as a point of contact for vehicle availability concerns during shift.
- Lot Organization
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized vehicle lot.
- Keep accurate records of lot status, including parked locations and out-of-service units.
- Identify and escalate any operational or logistical concerns to supervision.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles (CDL preferred but not required).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under limited supervision.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and capable of working early morning shifts.
- Experience in transit, transportation, or fleet support is a plus.
