A&N Diesel Repair is seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Diesel Service Technician to join our growing team. This role involves traveling to customer sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, electrical systems, and powertrains while ensuring top-quality performance, reliability, and safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Perform on-site maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in field conditions.
- Use advanced diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools to identify and resolve issues.
- Conduct brake repairs, HVAC maintenance, and welding as required.
- Perform mobile repairs for tractor-trailers, heavy equipment, farm machinery, and commercial vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with customers on-site to explain repair needs and solutions.
- Ensure all work meets A&N Diesel Repair’s high standards for safety, quality, and reliability.

Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair complex diesel systems.
- Knowledge of powertrain, emission, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in electrical and HVAC diagnostics.
- Experience using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power equipment.
- Welding and fabrication experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently in field environments.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and professionalism.
Experience & Education:
- 1–3 years of diesel repair or automotive experience preferred.
- Experience with tractor-trailers, heavy equipment, or farm machinery a plus.
- No experience required if you’re willing to learn — we’ll train the right individual.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Technical school certification in diesel technology (preferred but not required).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable standing, bending, and working in various physical positions.
- Capable of safely operating standard and mobile repair equipment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
