Abell Auction Company, a Los Angeles institution since 1916, is seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing & Web Manager to own our full online presence. This role blends web development, content management, and digital marketing—ideal for someone who can build, execute, and elevate how a historic auction house presents itself online.
You’ll work closely with leadership, photographers, and catalogers to turn each sale into a compelling digital experience that reaches collectors, dealers, and estates locally and worldwide.
What You’ll Do
Web & Digital Infrastructure
· Manage website hosting, domains, SSL, deployments, and platform credentials
· Build/update responsive pages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
· Maintain auction-platform listings (LiveAuctioneers, Invaluable, Bidsquare)
· Upload and QC catalog content, photography, and lot details
· Maintain integrations (CRM, analytics, email, ad pixels)
Digital Marketing
· Develop and execute SEO, SEM, email, and paid social strategies
· Run campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok
· Produce short-form video and social content throughout each sale cycle
· Track performance using GA4, GTM, and Search Console
· Report on KPIs including bidder growth, ROAS, and engagement
Email & Social
· Create 6–10 email campaigns per sale cycle
· Maintain consistent posting across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok
· Grow and segment email lists; conduct A/B testing
What You Bring
· 4 years in web development digital marketing
· Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms
· Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
· Strong SEO and analytics skills (GA4, GTM, GSC)
· Ability to write clear, accurate catalog and marketing copy
· Interest in art, antiques, or the collector market
· Flexible availability during preview and auction periods
Bonus: Video editing skills, experience with auction platforms, or prior work in galleries, museums, or luxury goods.
