Role Description The Mortgage Loan Officer is a full-time, remote position responsible for originating residential mortgage loans and guiding clients through the lending process from initial inquiry to closing. Day-to-day activities include consulting with prospective borrowers, collecting and analyzing financial information, explaining loan options, and advising on suitable products based on client needs and qualifications. Qualifications
- Experience as a Loan Officer with a track record of originating and managing residential mortgage loans.
- Knowledge of the Mortgage Industry, including current market trends, regulations, and lending practices.
- Hands-on expertise in Mortgage Lending processes, including loan structuring, documentation, and closing procedures.
- Understanding of Underwriting principles, credit analysis, and risk assessment to collaborate effectively with underwriting teams.
- Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and support clients throughout the loan process.
- Relevant state mortgage loan originator license(s) and active NMLS registration, or eligibility to obtain them.
