Responsibilities
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement effective curriculum plans that meet individual student needs, including special education and early intervention strategies.
- Assist in implementing lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, and physical development.
- Support children with diverse learning styles by applying behavior management techniques and classroom management best practices.
- Engage in early childhood education activities, including toddler care and preschool experiences, ensuring a nurturing environment for young learners.
- Maintain clear communication with parents and staff regarding child welfare, developmental milestones, and classroom updates to promote a cohesive support system.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children across various age groups, especially in early childhood education or preschool settings.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods, daycare operations, private school environments, and childcare standards is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners using tools such as tutoring or differentiated instruction.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
