A Middle Georgia Construction Company seeks a seasoned Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction and have 'ground up' experience.
The selected individual must have personal hand tools and be willing to perform elementary carpentry skills, as well as possess good organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with project managers and owners.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
- Possess knowledge of building and site layout process, understanding blueprints, and construction schedule.
- Maintain accurate and complete set of project documents, including field revisions and notes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee subcontractors and coordinate related inspections.
- Communicate regular updates and monitor/manage construction progress.
- Maintain strict control over the accuracy, quality, and conformance to plans and specs for subcontracts and supplier's work.
