Job Overview
We’re a growing non-emergency transportation company seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Lube Technician to keep our fleet running smoothly and safely along side with our Master Tech. We are a dedicated, in-house automotive maintenance shop. This role focuses exclusively on servicing our fleet vehicles and supporting our drivers, there is no direct customer service or retail interaction. Responsibilities
- Conduct oil changes efficiently using appropriate hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper procedures are followed for different vehicle models.
- Perform tire services including rotations, replacements, and inspections to maintain optimal vehicle safety and performance.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid top-offs, filter replacements, and basic repairs under supervision or independently based on experience.
- Support wheel alignments and other diagnostic procedures to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Use automotive diagnostics tools to troubleshoot mechanical problems accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and mechanical work.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing drivers questions professionally.
Qualifications
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with automotive service standards.
- Mechanic experience with hands-on knowledge of vehicle maintenance, oil changes, tire service, and basic repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostics equipment effectively.
- Experience with automotive diagnostics to identify issues quickly and accurately.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including alignments, tire rotations, fluid changes, and general repairs.
- Service technician experience that highlights a commitment to quality work and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
