Role Description
We are seeking a motivated Assistant / Entry-Level Superintendent to support daily field operations. In this role, you will work directly alongside senior field leadership, learning how to run a commercial jobsite from the ground up. This is a foundational role designed to provide the hands-on experience, training, and mentorship necessary to transition into a Lead Superintendent over time.
Key Responsibilities
* Field Support: Assist with the daily supervision of subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
* Site Management: Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and secure jobsite.
* Safety & Quality: Enforce OSHA compliance, conduct basic quality checks, and document daily site activities.
* Project Controls: Track material deliveries, verify inventory, and help implement the master construction schedule.
* Communication: Actively communicate field issues to project managers and help coordinate solutions.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or coursework in Construction Management or a related field is highly preferred.
* Strong desire to learn how to read and interpret construction blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
* Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel, email, and willingness to learn construction management software).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with trade partners and clients.
* Ability to work on-site daily, walk the jobsite, and work in varying weather conditions.
* Compliance: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check (required due to the secure nature of our commercial clients).
