Job Description
The Sr. Systems Engineer will report to the Enterprise Management Engineering team. This position will be responsible for coordinating with network engineers with the configuration and access of the Government Customer’s Enterprise Infrastructure of all assets relating to Enterprise Management monitoring.

The Sr. Systems Engineer will report to the Enterprise Management Engineering team. This position will be responsible for coordinating with network engineers with the configuration and access of the Government Customer’s Enterprise Infrastructure of all assets relating to Enterprise Management monitoring.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing fault and performance monitoring and proactive event management service utilizing EM standard tools for supported systems.
- Provide analysis and recommendations pertaining to network optimization and enhancements in order to support integration with Enterprise Management tools.
- Participate in customer, contract, and vendor meetings as required.
- Participate in designing, engineering, documenting, and coordinating recommended changes to system architecture to accommodate Enterprise Management support.
- Working with the Customer's network infrastructure.
- Working with routers, bridges, switches, storage area networks, network security, and network management systems in a UNIX and Windows environment.
- Engage in supervisory responsibilities
- Provide the integration of event and incident ticketing systems.
- Provide the integration of the event and email system.

- Bachelor's Degree and 8 years relevant experience or
- Associate’s Degree and 10 years relevant experience or
- 8 years relevant experience
- Operational experience with ServiceNow
- Experience in the Intelligence Community
- DoD 8140 (formerly 8570.01-M), IAT Level I
- Security CE (within 6 months)
- TS/SCI Clearance
- Ability to obtain CI Poly Clearance
- Ability to help support “Special Projects” as identified by Government Customer.
- Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
- Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
- Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
- Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous customer service experience strongly desired.
- Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
