Role DescriptionThis is a full-time position for an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) / Financial Advisor, based in Westlake, Ohio. The advisor will work directly with the firm’s owner and senior advisor to help manage an established client book while contributing to the firm’s lead generation and business development initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and managing client relationships.
- Creating comprehensive financial and retirement plans.
- Conducting investment reviews and portfolio analysis.
- Advising clients on wealth accumulation, income planning, and estate strategies.
- Supporting lead generation through digital marketing, networking, and referral initiatives.
- Staying current with market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
- Using firm technology platforms (Panoramix, Redtail CRM, Schwab, Mailchimp, etc.) to manage workflow and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Active Series 65 license (required).
- 3–5 years of experience in financial advising, financial planning, or wealth management.
- Strong understanding of investments, financial planning, and retirement plan design.
- Proficiency in CRM and planning software.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CFP®, CFA®) are a plus.
